India has won 28 Olympic medals in the 24 of the 28 Olympics hosted since 1896. For a country that has a population of over 1.3 billion and is set to become the youngest in the world by the end of the decade, there is a huge potential to double, maybe even triple that number by providing the correct guidance. And while there are a number of programs that address various aspects of the sporting support system, addressing this huge potential for sport development and excellence requires a holistic approach - one that provides 360-degree strengthening of the country's sport ecosystem.
The Ab Jeetega India Foundation Mentorship Program aims to empower children who aspire to pursue a future in the vast field of sport, by giving them access to a host of top-of-the-line facilities and resources and providing them with the insights and expertise needed to propel them on a forward path.
Any child who feels sport can provide them with an avenue to showcase their skills, either as an athlete or as a professional, can apply for this program. Those selected will be given assistance in the form of access to professional-grade equipment and training facilities, physical and mental conditioning; help applying to national and international level tournaments; and even boarding, lodging and travel expenses for said tournaments.
Do you envision sport to be a significant part of your future plans? Do you have the drive and talent to succeed but lack the knowledge and resources? Have you invested all you can to pursue your sporting dream but still need an extra push to take you to the next level? Then you're just the right person who should apply for the Ab Jeetega India Foundation Mentorship Program.
