By the turn of the decade, India is set to become the youngest country in the world, and the responsibility to ensure that our next generation has everything they need to chase their dreams, however far-fetched it may seem, falls on each and every one of us.
The state of grassroots level sports in India leaves a lot for us to yearn for. Children in remote villages have little access to even the most basic of sporting resources, like equipment, infrastructure and training. Knowledge about sport-related policies like anti-doping rules is non-existent. To make matters worse, children from rural parts of the country are often discriminated against on the basis of caste, creed and gender. We believe sport has no place for this kind of inequality. We believe the right to quality sporting facilities is a right of all.
The Ab Jeetega India Foundation has taken birth to ensure that every child, irrespective of their age, gender, religion or social and economic standing—gets a chance to pursue their passion for sport. And to do this, we need to build a holistic support system for young talented sportspersons who desire to achieve the highest level of sporting success. By ensuring young athletes get access to state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, comprehensive knowledge, and equal opportunities in a system that is free of any type of discrimination; we endeavour to build a support system that will stand the test of time and continue to nurture future generations of sporting talent.
Somewhere there’s a child who has envisioned seeing his/her name up in lights; standing up on a podium with a winner’s medal; hearing tens of thousands of sports fans chant their name. Through your help and support, we can place tennis rackets and boxing gloves in their hands; we can build pitches and turfs in their villages and towns; we can provide them with the right nutrition and mental strengthening, we can give them the guidance they need to turn their dreams into reality.
To collectively harness the POWER OF SPORT: to strengthen, support, promote and develop the sporting ecosystem of the country.
To be the largest and holistic support system for talented young people across the country striving for national and international sporting success.
To improve sport facilities across India and to ensure that people of all backgrounds, age and gender have equal opportunities to participate in sport.
